My friend found this spot via IG. It was around 10 pm when we arrived. Street parking only!
We got some passion fruit juice, quesa berria tacos, berria ramen, and mini pancakes. I've tried a few berria trucks before, and the soup has always been light. This one, though, was dark and so flavorful! It was soo good and the ramen as well. Never thought I'd try the ramen berria but my friend got it. I'm glad we found this spot.
It wasn't too busy at all but there were people around and trickingling still.
Loved the food just be sure to always ask how much is it before ordering. Why because some venders just try to gip to the max this one lady charged me freaking freaking $10 for handmade tortilla and damn onions and little cheese and tinga chicken and was good but for sure not worth $10. Forgot her post and name u will know when u get charged 50 for 4 tacos lol..! U must try the ladies that sell chicken taquitos in a cup with sopa de pollito.
Cool night market. A nice mix of foods. I saw tacos, noodles, sushi, burgers, ice cream, pizza, and even a boba stand. I would bring cash but a lot of the vendors took zelle or venmo. There's street parking or a pay structure nearby.
El gato market is everything you want from a neighborhood market. Has so much cool and tasty food from many cultures and regions. You can get dessert, jewelry and other random things. Best thing about it they close late! We need more of these markets all over the city.
Lively place for many food options Mexican, Italian, Chinese and More.
Everything is very unique. So many choices for dessert...also vendors saleing different things. Its a must see for yourself and family. $2 to use porta pitty is a downfall.
TLDR - $10 cash for parking across the street
- MOST venders do CASH ONLY, only a little accept zelle, cash app or venmo, very very rare for apple pay
parking will be available right across the street from the market, $10 parking fee *** CASH ONLY ***. we got there around 10pm on a friday and found parking on the 3rd floor, it was pretty crowded and we got lucky with it. as soon as you enter you see all the delicious food, it was bomb. the market is kind of small with only about 5 rows and 10 vendors for every row (left and right). wish there were more spontaneous food options bc most were tacos but apart from that it’s a good vibe.
Definitely a great experience, a melting pot of food and products all withing a parking lot size market. Most vendors accepts cash and zelle; with thier QR posted in front of thier stalls. Moderately priced and decent variety of food. Recommend the Ramen Birria and the Funnel Cake. Steeet Parking, seating, and space to move is limited. Family friendly and overall nice to go, at least once!
Not my favorite from all the Night Markets my son has me take him to. However it is a decent place, a little over crowded so be patient and courteous most people aren't now in days. Please use common sense and form the lines within the stand not across the walk way.
